To my extend...

I just recently hand out with a couple of friends from the forum, Made some new friends, and I found out that life is not all that happy in the world of forum-ing. People treat each other differently just because they are different then the rest. I don't have any say on this but being a mindless drone that doesn't benefit anyone is just a waste of time. I feel sad for them but if you go anywhere there are always people who will judge you and snipe you if you make a mistake. I think there are like snakes or something. I am for one like to be different but I hate to start a controversy in my usual hangout place. So just read other people posts and posts on neutral things. I know the Harry Potter phase has gone a bit down because it has been 3 days and most of the people who bought the book probably finish it already. I haven't started it yet. Probably tonight. Please don't spoil it for me. I still want to report about the launch day event. Just waiting on the pictures.

Back for work

After a nice long day off. 2 days can seem quite long. Im back. This is going to be an exciting week. To start of this week we got Monk and Psych returning of the new season. Just watch the first episode of each. Damn funny. Plus this week is the released of the final Harry Potter book (HP and the Deathly Hollows) I suspect they will be a lot of dying. Im going to camp out tomorrow at the bookstore at around 4am. I better make sure I have all the necessary equipment to keep me going. Which reminds me I need to change my DS games. Probably put some movies in my PSP. Speaking of games I currently playing Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess and Wii Play. I just love creating my Mii. Ok then, Im off to play a little literati with some friends and family. Oops I mean working

E3 extranvaganza...

2 days ago start the best videogame expo in the world. Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo put all their cards down. I'm just giving my 2 cents on the events that happen yesterdays. Plus note is also the first time I watch E3 press conference live via streaming video.

First of is Microsoft and their Xbox 360

Microsoft really has nothing to show besides Halo 3. I think everybody is just waiting for that game. So Peter Moore just gone on rambling about how the 360 beat the other competitors in terms of hardware sales and software. The way I see it, no company will say their product sucks. They all are going to say good thing because there are trying to sell it to the consumer. Microsoft should address the faulty 3 rod problem in my opinion. Other games that they showed were Mass effect which I don't have any interest in since is an RPG of some sorts. Something like Knights of the Old Republic. Again let me stress out Microsoft really don't have anything to be shown because most of their games will be released be on the PS3. But they did demo Assassins Creed which I thought was sweet. Other than that Rock Band was there which I think is a very good way for Harmonix to make a lot of money. Oh yeah, they also introduce new services to their Live network.

Overall I give it a C+

Next up is the Big N and the Nintendo DS and Wii (my personal favorite since I own one)

Mr Reggie is all about kicking ass but today he seems happy. Why wouldn't he, the Wii is pratically sold out in every continent and the Nintendo DS is the best selling handheld since the Game Boy. Nintendo is playing their cards right. They are targeting non consumers such as grandma, grandpa and mom's and dad's who dont play game. If you don't believe me pick up a Wii or a DS you'll know why. Plus most of their games are easy to pick up like Brain Age 2, Nintendogs and other. People nowadays want games that are easy to pick up and play. This reminds me of the day when Nintendo was the worse company out there since the launching of the Nintendo 64 and Gamecube. They are certainly looking up. Nintendo did showcase a multitude of games exclusively for them. In fact they didn't show that much of 3rd party titles. Trust me, most of thier 3rd party lineup sucks. Among the games that catch my attention is Metriod Prime: Corruption (August 27), Super Mario Galaxy (Nov 11) and My favorite among them all Super Smash Bros Brawl (Dec 3; why is it taking so long). The only DS game that I am interested in Legend of Zelda : Phantom Hourglass. It looks cool with the stylus controls. Other than that The Big N showed a couple new hardware like the zapper. A casing for the wii and the nunchuck it specially cater for light guns game (I'm going to get that) and then there is the new Mario Kart (due 2008) with wii wheel (I'm going to get that too) and finally the best of the show. It was so great that Miyamoto-san came out and introduce it. It's called Wii Fit. It's basically a fitness game with a device we have to step on called the Wii balance board (definitely going to get that). I'm already lazy as it is so it is nice to see a game that helps me get off my ass.

Overall I give it a A

Lastly is Sony with it PSP and PS3

Sony really overdone it this time. With lots of cool games for the PSP and an introducing of a new PSP which is 33% lighter and 19% slimmer. Which is cool but I don't see the difference. The main event of the show is the showcase of PS3 Home service. I think is cool, it's like myspace but on your Ps3. The abilty to customize your avatar and your crib is intriguing indeed. The best part of all of this is FREE. So take that Microsoft. But needless to say that sony's online service needs to be fined tuned more. Other than that the $100 reduction of the 60gb and the discontinuation of the 20gb model is already expected. They also did introduce the new 80gb model bundled with Motorstorm. I think the best part of the show is their 1st party lineup. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is one of the best among the show. It's like Gears of War meets Tomb Raider. Plus is from Naughty Dog, so far I haven't played a game from them that sucks. Heavenly Sword looks great and finally the best graphic so far is Killzone 2. It looks better than GOW. Speaking of Gears, the creator of that game Epic and its Unreal engine has stuck a deal with Sony to make the graphics engine run better on the Ps3. Well in the end is always about the money, so we'll see what will happen.

Overall I give this a A-

Ok don't get me wrong. I love the Xbox but their press conference was boooring. At least Sony and Nintendo shows stuff we haven't seen before. Now this make me rethink to get a Ps3 rather than a lcd tv. Kudos to all... ciao

Cloverfield

Ok before I start on other things. I've check this trailer out called Cloverfield. Is a code name for something else. This movie is going to be aired on 1-18-08 but the teaser they showed us revealed nothing than the destruction of New York. On the last scene you can see the Statue of Liberty's head being flown out and hitting the ground. Like many other curious people I head to the forums and found nothing about this movie. Some say the monster is called "Cthulhu" (pronounce kathuloo). It's something to do about a monster that come out and its worse than godzilla. Others say is part of a website called Ethan Haas Was Right. It says about a guy who predicts the future is going to end and all such. It's probably just not true but man... it been a while since I saw firm style ala Blair Witch Project and the trailer really raise more question than answers. Since J J Abrams is the producer, so he is known for his Lost series. He's just trying to mess with us. But try check it out...

Im back

It's been a while since I written. Probably because I am lazy a I don't think anyone would notice. I write here today to say what I am going to be writing tomorrow. I got a couple of movie reviews up. Still watching 24. Almost finished and finally, my thoughts on this coming E3. So don't miss it. You, you and you ( I think there is only 3 people I know who reads this blog, you know who you are). Ok, time for me to go home.

Finally... Almost

Well this is my 4th day working non stop and tomorrow is my much needed rest. Almost... Got a department meeting tomorrow and an exam which clearly I don't have the slightest clue of what I am doing. After than I can relax. My brother is coming over to run some of his errands. I also got a couple of errands I need to take care of. Need to get some sleep after this. But the thing that I am waiting for is this Saturday. Then when I get to watch TRANSFORMERS. Tomorrow I am going to watch Rise of the Sliver Surfer. It's a good thing the tickets are free, I hate to waste money on a not so good movie. So the post will be 4 days short since I am nowhere near an Internet access. I doubt it anyone reads this stuff (please prove me wrong). It's just pure gibberish. Congrats to my good friend Akram who is getting married this Sat. Wouldn't miss it for the world. Ok... It's off to la la land. Can't sleep...

24 Day 4

Finally... After weeks of watching I finally finished Day 4. I got to say Day 4 is better than the rest of the days. But it hard to imagine everything can turn from right to wrong in a day. Relationships can crumble and be mend in 24 hours. I think the best part is surprising plot twist where Jack is now dead to everyone except his closest friends. The producers can actually and the show on that note but because of the ratings they can squeeze in a couple more seasons. How many days can Jack Bauer save. Well the villain this time is the guy who played Imothep in the mummy. Quite cool but nothing special. Next day will be more exciting. They say is the best season ever. It actually holds the record for the most watch season of that show. Man, I wish my life was a tv show.

2 more days to go...

I still have to more days of work. I'm supposed to be on holiday but since I want to go to my friends wedding, i need to clock in the extra hours. Around 2am just now my boss came a gave us a bucket of kfc. I was thinking how the hell I am going to lose weight since there are a lot of good food. Plus the new report that I learn is so confusing, I am thankful that I am just stuck doing the report than doing something that is more confusing.

Other than that, I find Tina Fey so beautiful. She got a certain spunk on her that makes me just to approach her but feels to scared. 30 Rock is damn funny. I certainly recommend it for everyone. Cracks me up.

Im not sleepy, that sucks... I wonder does anybody read this beside the circle of my friends. Someone way over there...

3.40 oe-a

I finally upgrade to the ultimate firmware and it seems to be running smoothly. Now I can play the game that I was waiting for. Transformers. I found that game rather interesting but the controller are a bit stiff. I just need to finish the game in order to unlock all the characters. Fun... fun... under the sun. Maybe I'm going to upload crush and rathet and clank. When will they release a game that is not going to suck.

Shape up or get out!

Recently there has been a couple events at my work which make me think. Do I still want to be a paper pusher (or in this case a button clicker) or I want to make something out of working. Working has been a mundane routine so I don't expect much of it. One of my colleagues was frustrated because we are not doing our job. Even though there are more experience people out there that can do it I feel is my responsibility to learn what they are doing. May seem hard at first but the guys who can do that job won't be here forever and someone has to pick up the slack. All I am saying is is better to save my ass than to let it burn in hell. I do feel guilty because I am one of the drones who just do a little and do nothing a lot. So I think this is the time for me to change. Maybe I just love working here and what a couple more paperwork rather than getting your boss to yell at you.

Ingnorance is bliss

I was driving from home to run some errands when suddenly there was a police roadblock down the road. I acted cool and calm since I am not breaking any laws at the moment. I past the roadblock with ease. During that time, I stoppped at a traffic light, I went through my wallet to check weather my license has expired or not. I found out that my license has expired for 6 months!!! Then, a sudden urge of panic came over me. I was scared that I got caught by the police for driving without a license and will be sent to the slammer. Good thing there was a post office nearby so after that problem is slove and I don't need to worry about that anymore (not until 2012 that is). So which brings us to the question, If we don't know about that stuff, it won't have an effect on our actions.

Other than that, I got my TRANSFORMERS (transformation sound) tickets. Watching it on Saturday. Would want to watch it sooner but I am working and I rather watch it with friends than alone. My brother from out of states is coming to do his visa so he can fly abroad to study. So I bought him a ticket too. Must been ages he haven't watch a movie.

What else to say... My PSP frimware keep giving me errors while running some games. So tonight, rather than working. I'll probably take a couple of hours to upgrade is to version 3.40. Hope I don't brick my psp and my friends psp. People keep thinking because I used to work in the gaming business,I am a pro when it comes to game. I just suck like anyone else. Need to read a lot in order to understand. Well... better ask them to sign a "I-would-not-be-responsible-for-bricking-your-psp" contact.

Kids feel neglected

I'm neglecting my kids recently. By my kids I mean my psp and ds. I think it's been months since I played my psp. There are not that many games that I want to sink my teeth into. But all that about to change. I'll soon get a hold of the new transformers game, and from what I saw this game is going to rock. Other than that there is still crush which is and 2D/3D hybrid puzzle.

Speaking of the ds. I'm still addicted to picross. Like my friend say picross is the next sudoku which I find it a bit hard since sudoku you can slove it on a piece of paper where else picross if you make a mistake you won't quite see it. I'm almost finishing that game. Probably finish castlevania next and resident evil. I don't know I think playing handhelds are getting to bored for me. I think once I stop watching 24 everything will be back to normal.

Speaking of 24, Day 4 is still a big blur to me. Don't see the big plot yet and I'm trying hard not to look at the spoilers. I'm not working for 2 days so that will give me lots of time to do other stuff. The first thing on my to do list is to get Transformers tickets. Can't wait for the movie to come out next week. Maybe going to see Rise of the Sliver Surfer.

Flip phone sucks

My phone just died again. I don't know what made me to change to a flip phone in the first place. Do you guys notice that all the tv shows or movies, the phone that they are using is a flip phone. I think it give a certain feeling that you are actually answering a call. Maybe that what got me to get this stupid W710i. I love the walkman feature but because of the constant flipping, the magnetic film that is connecting both ends of the phone can get easily damage. To make matters worse the rubber lining outside of the phone has peeled of due to heat or something like that. I've bought 4 hand phones in my life and all of them sucks except my old nokia 3310 aka"the brick". I have to go fix it and sell it back before the warranty expires. But I do love to do thing at the eleventh hour. It gives a sense of panic (in other words I'm just to lazy). Now I am thinking what phone to get after this. Any suggestions?

24 Day 3

So today is my second post since this morning at 3am. Slept around 3 hours and haven't slept since. So "Today is the longest day of my life". Well actually that is not true but I am rather sleepy at the moment. I was suppose to sleep but then I still have 4 more hours of 24 and I hate leaving things hanging. I know 24 already reach Day 6 and is going to Day 7 next year. But I recently got the while 6 seasons to occupy my time until September. That's when new and old show will start again. Going onto the 3rd day made me relised something. If you are high on adrenaline, you can actually forget about eating and sleeping. Maybe is because the world is at stake and Jack Bauer is the only guy that can save us all. Everything about the show made me at the edge of my seat. It made me so edgy until I went and look at the spoilers just to know what happend till the end. Which actually made me think, if a biological threat like that happen in real life. Would we survive? Probably, then the remaining humas have to go and populate the world. Well as long as there is Jack or real life counterparts that resembles him. Hope the world will be a safer place. Now I am on Day 4 and by the looks of it, is still going to be the longest day of his life. Hope he has the time to go to the toilet. As for me, I still got around 4 to 5 more hours before I sleep. Still got a couple of errands to run. So until then... teet teet teet teet...

First post...

I was planning to set a blog on my birthday. But then, my blog is not for another couple of months and since people are doing it. So what the heck, this could be fun. So this blog is going to be about nothing (kind of like the sienfled motto). I'll probably write about stuff that is happening to me and my surroundings. Well that about it, need to get some sleep. Waking up in a couple more hours.
